Tina came to ASSETS in 2015 as the Director of Development, and helped the organization grow by over 300% in the past 4 years. She created the development program at ASSETS and has been instrumental in the creation of financial and operational systems as ASSETS has grown from a staff of 4 to 14. Tina is passionate about using business for good in our local community and has always had an interest in economic development and microfinance, which is reflected in her career path.
Prior to ASSETS, Tina focused her career in businesses and organizations with a strong community focus. She spent 6 years in various roles at Everence Federal Credit Union, including VP of Lending and Member Services. During her time at Everence, she gave oversight to the creation of a new mortgage lending department, lead the opening of 3 new branches in 3 different states and helped to grow the loan portfolio by over 25%. Her work at Everence connected her with many entrenpreneurs who needed microloans and financial support to start and grow their businesses in our community. Tina left the work at the Credit Union to help open a small, locally owned kitchen shop in Intercourse, PA. She helped to manage the store and gained valuable experience in the first-hand struggles of running a small, independent business.
Tina has been connected to ASSETS for many years, having gone through the initial “Business Design and Management Course” herself in 2004. She volunteered time at various ASSETS events in the past. ASSETS connects Tina’s passion and career experiences and she is excited to help advance ASSETS’ mission and impact in the local community.
