Una Vision: Creating a Bridge Between Cultures Through Early Learning

In partnership with the Hempfield Technology, ASSETS is building opportunity for entrepreneurs brick by brick.

Una Vision Childcare is a vision born from faith and the belief that early education can be a bridge to a stronger, more connected community. For founder Champagne Domingo, starting a business wasn’t part of a long-term plan. It was a calling that became clear over time, shaped by her deep roots in the Spanish-speaking community and her drive to make early education more inclusive and culturally grounded.

Una Vision gives young children access to immersive Spanish-language learning at a time when their minds are most ready to absorb it. It also offers working parents the peace of mind that comes from knowing their children are safe, supported, and developing in a nurturing environment. And it invests in early educators, helping staff discover their own purpose as they shape the next generation of leaders.

Why Una Vision was Formed
Una Vision was created to fill a gap in the availability of high-quality bilingual education options in Lancaster. For many Spanish-speaking families, and for parents who want their children to grow up multilingual and culturally aware, there were limited choices. Champagne recognized how powerful early language development could be and built a business that gives children the gift of fluency and a strong academic foundation.

Una Vision also exists for families who need more flexible, high-standard care and educators who want to grow their careers while serving their community.

ASSETS’ Role

To turn that mission into a scalable, sustainable business, Champagne leaned on ASSETS for support. Through coaching, connections, and community, she strengthened the operational side of her centers while staying focused on what mattered most, creating impact.

ASSETS helped guide her through expansion, grant opportunities, and strategic decision-making. Today, Una Vision is not only thriving but expanding, with multiple locations serving families across the region. Champagne’s journey also came full circle when she joined ASSETS’ board, committed to helping other entrepreneurs access the same tools and support that helped her succeed.

Looking Ahead

Una Vision is approaching its 10-year anniversary, and the momentum is just beginning. With two centers open and a third on the way, the team is preparing to launch a nonprofit arm that will offer scholarships to families who are often overlooked, including those who earn too much to qualify for subsidies but still struggle to afford high-quality childcare.

This new initiative is designed to increase access and ensure that more children can benefit from early bilingual education, regardless of their family’s financial situation. At the same time, Una Vision continues to deepen community partnerships and build a foundation that will serve families for generations.
