Aileen Wigotow
Aileen serves as the founder of Wigotow Consulting LLC, an accounting advisory firm serving small businesses and entrepreneurs. Prior to starting her own business in 2020, Aileen worked for 15 years in a variety of accounting roles in the public, private and nonprofit sectors after graduating from the Monfort School of Business at the University of Northern Colorado in 2001 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business and concentration in Accounting. Now a CPA in Pennsylvania, Aileen’s focus is partnering alongside small businesses and entrepreneurs, providing expert level advisory services in an approachable and accessible manner.
In 2018, after years of dreaming about becoming an entrepreneur and learning about the movement that business can be used for positive change, Aileen participated in a 5 week intensive program at ASSETS, a transformative step in her entrepreneurship journey. Realizing that her accounting and financial analysis skills were integral to socially minded businesses being able to achieve their goals, Wigotow Consulting was created in 2020 to help small businesses and entrepreneurs build and maintain solid financial foundations so that, collectively, the good work can continue.
Aileen has served on ASSETS’ Women’s Business Center Advisory Board since 2023 and is honored and excited to also now be a part of ASSETS Board of Directors. A highlight of Aileen’s work is facilitating many of the finance sessions throughout much of ASSETS programming such as the Idea Incubator, Finance Bootcamp and Small Business Webinar Series.
Aileen and her husband Josh live in Lancaster City with their two boys and enjoys being active, watching her boys play sports, spending time with her family and friends and traveling.
