During National Volunteer Week, ASSETS is proud to recognize a group of remarkable individuals who offer their time, insight, and leadership to advance our mission: our Board of Directors.
Each board member brings a unique blend of expertise, lived experience, and deep commitment to creating an economy that works for everyone. Their volunteer service helps shape the direction of ASSETS and strengthen the ecosystem of support around the entrepreneurs we serve.
Get to know the dedicated leaders who help make our work possible:

Aileen Wigotow
Founder of Friday Financials, Aileen brings her expertise in accounting and a passion for helping small businesses build strong financial foundations. A former participant in ASSETS programming, she now gives back by facilitating finance sessions and serving on both our Women’s Business Center Advisory Board and Board of Directors. Aileen’s approach makes financial knowledge more accessible for those driving social impact.
Amer Al Fayadh
As Founder and CEO of Communication Essentials, Amer draws on years of experience in language services and cross-cultural communication. A former refugee, he deeply values the power of community and believes our differences are strengths. His commitment to ethical leadership and empowerment makes him a powerful advocate for underserved voices in our region.


Champagne Domingo
An award-winning entrepreneur and founder of Una Vision Childcare, Champagne created Lancaster County’s first Spanish immersion childcare center. Her innovative approach supports bilingual, biliterate, and bicultural development for young children, helping to shape a more inclusive future from the earliest years. Champagne brings valuable insight to ASSETS through her commitment to equity in education and her dedication to empowering families in the community.
Denise Wayman
Treasurer
As a leader at Everence Federal Credit Union, Denise is deeply passionate about financial literacy and access to capital. She has volunteered with ASSETS for years and remains active with organizations like Tenfold and Junior Achievement. Her heart for service and support of small business owners is evident in every interaction.


Dr. Francine McNairy-Nelson
Secretary
A lifelong educator and the first African American woman to serve as president of a Pennsylvania state-owned university, Fran brings a legacy of leadership and mentorship to our board. Her experience overseeing major institutional change, along with her long-standing community involvement, reflects her deep commitment to systemic equity and education.
Jessica Gehman
Relationship Manager at LINKBANK, Jessica has supported ASSETS since 2019 through our Loan Review Committee and now on the Board. She is a collaborative leader in the financial sector and a strong advocate for access to capital for those overlooked by traditional systems. Jessica’s leadership extends to multiple community boards and causes.


Joe Martinez
As Growth Channel Director for Bank of Bird in Hand, Joe brings two decades of experience in banking and a passion for helping people meet their potential. A proud Lancaster native, he believes deeply in the power of relationships and entrepreneurship to change lives. Joe is also a champion of ASSETS’ lending work and local partnerships.
Kathy Pandelidis Granbois
A business and corporate law expert with Saxton & Stump, Kathy helps entrepreneurs navigate the legal side of launching and growing their ventures. A long-time ASSETS volunteer, she regularly coaches participants in our programs. Her dedication to equity and community is also reflected in her service with United Way and other local organizations.


Kent Hartzler
Past Chair
Leadership Consultant at North Group, Kent brings experience in financial services and a heart for values-based business. Having engaged with ASSETS over many years, both personally and professionally, Kent is passionate about helping create equitable business models that transform communities from the inside out.
Lance Greene
Vice Chair
Lance is an attorney at Saxton & Stump and a former assistant district attorney in Lancaster. His extensive legal experience and leadership in the community bring a justice-oriented lens to ASSETS’ work. A proud graduate of Leadership Lancaster, Lance is active in the Lancaster Bar Association and local youth programs.


Peter Barber
Chair
Co-founder of Two Dudes Painting Company, Pete brings over three decades of experience growing a values-driven business. As a B Corporation and community leader, he leads by example in showing how small businesses can be a force for good. Pete’s energy and commitment to community development are matched only by his love for family and the outdoors.
Yessenia Rios
Yessenia serves as Vice President Community Lender for Finanta and brings over 15 years of experience in consumer and commercial finance. Her passion for increasing access to affordable housing and capital aligns closely with ASSETS’ mission. She is a strong advocate for low-to-moderate-income communities across South Central Pennsylvania.
