How Rincon Latino is Growing in Lancaster
In partnership with Citizens Bank, ASSETS is building opportunities for entrepreneurs in Central PA, brick by brick.
In downtown Lancaster, Rincon Latino Restaurant Cafe brings Latin American culture to the table through made-to-order meals, shared traditions, and a space designed for connection.
For owner Delvin Garcia, the vision started with something simple but deeply personal. He wanted to create a place where Latin American culture could be experienced in a way that felt real. Not rushed. A place where food is prepared with care and shared in a setting that brings people together.
Why He Started
Rincon Latino was created to fill a gap Delvin saw in Lancaster. While there were options for Latin food, many were buffet-style. What was missing was a sit-down experience where meals are authentic and made to order.

Delvin wanted to offer something different, something that reflected the depth and diversity of Latin American cuisine. Just as important, he wanted to create a space for Latino families and future generations. A place that feels like home and celebrates identity.
Building for Community
Rincon Latino is not just for one group. It is for the broader Lancaster community, from Latino families looking for familiarity to neighbors who want to experience something new. Delvin sees the restaurant as a bridge. Through food, people can learn and better understand the richness of Latin American culture. That vision has only grown stronger with time.
Following a recent rebrand and reopening, Rincon Latino is stepping into a new chapter. The refreshed identity reflects both growth and a renewed commitment to quality and community presence.
ASSETS’ Role
As Delvin worked to grow and strengthen his business, ASSETS provided support through both loan capital and grant funding. This support helped create stability during key moments of growth, allowing Delvin to invest in his space, refine his operations.

Looking Ahead
Delvin sees the future of Rincon Latino as one of continued growth and deeper community connection. Plans include expanding the menu to highlight more regional dishes, hosting cultural events, and creating experiences that go beyond food. From music nights to community gatherings, the goal is to make the restaurant a hub for culture in Lancaster.
