How The Socials Fairy Is Helping Growing Businesses Get Seen

In partnership with TCW-GAV, ASSETS is building opportunities for entrepreneurs in Central PA, brick by brick.

As we count down to this year’s Great Social Enterprise Pitch, we’re checking in with entrepreneurs who previously participated in ASSETS’ Idea Incubator to see where their journeys have taken them.

Ariana Garcia knows what it looks like when a business is doing everything right but still isn’t getting seen. The customers are there. The reputation is there. The business is growing. People in the community know exactly who the owner is and what she does. But online, that same business can look like a completely different story.

That gap is what Ariana is working to close through The Socials Fairy LLC, a creative visibility partner helping Latina and women of color business owners bring more clarity and structure to their marketing.

An Idea Born from Experience

Ariana had already been an entrepreneur when the idea for The Socials Fairy began taking shape. After six years as a Realtor, one of her biggest challenges was the uneven cash flow that can come with the industry. She began assisting a local social media agency as a way to create additional income between real estate deals.

As Ariana worked with more founders, she noticed a common challenge. Business owners weren’t necessarily struggling with marketing because they lacked motivation. Many simply didn’t have the time, structure or resources to approach it consistently.

The original plan was to build a small freelance client base. Instead, Ariana began developing a business around helping entrepreneurs better communicate the work they were already doing.

Building for “La Mujerón en Movimiento”

Ariana describes the person she serves as la mujerón en movimiento, a woman whose business already has momentum. She is booked, respected and known in her community. Her customers understand the value of what she does, but her online presence may not reflect the business she has built.

That disconnect is where The Socials Fairy comes in. Ariana helps business owners translate the strength of their reputation, experience and work into a digital presence that reflects where their businesses are today.

For Ariana, the goal isn’t to create the appearance of a successful business. It’s to help entrepreneurs who are already doing great work become more visible to the people they want to reach.

Putting Structure Behind the Idea

When Ariana joined the ASSETS Idea Incubator in 2024, she wasn’t new to entrepreneurship. She was already running two businesses. Instead, she came to the program looking for a way to test her newest idea before putting significant time and money behind it. The experience helped Ariana recognize that while she had strong entrepreneurial instincts and knew how to hustle, she needed more structure behind some of the decisions she was making.

Through the program, she worked through areas like pricing, positioning and understanding which numbers could help guide her business decisions. It gave her a framework for evaluating The Socials Fairy and building the business more intentionally.

Her relationship with ASSETS would eventually take another turn. In 2025, Ariana joined the ASSETS staff and began facilitating the same programming she had previously completed.

Teaching three cohorts gave her another opportunity to revisit those lessons and consider how she was applying them to her own business. Moving between entrepreneur and facilitator brought a new level of accountability to the process and helped reinforce the practices she was putting into place.

Looking Ahead

Ariana is now taking another big step by leaving her staff role at ASSETS and taking The Socials Fairy full time. Her vision is to grow the business into a hybrid boutique agency while continuing a more focused and sustainable real estate practice. As The Socials Fairy grows, Ariana also wants to create opportunities for people whose skills may not fit a traditional communications or marketing résumé.

Longer term, Ariana envisions The Socials Fairy offering fully bilingual services and eventually establishing a headquarters in Puerto Rico.

She is also continuing She Belongs Here, her collaboration with A. Calhoun Events, and hopes to begin developing meetups for first-generation women focused on financial literacy and wealth building in 2027.
