Yumbo Studio: Helping Small Businesses Clarify Their Brand

In partnership with Enders Insurance, ASSETS is building opportunities for entrepreneurs in Central PA, brick by brick.

When a business cannot clearly communicate who it is, what it does or why it matters, opportunity is lost.

Beatrice Zorrilla, founder of Yumbo Studio helps entrepreneurs close that gap. Through brand design and photography, she brings clarity to their visual language and shapes stories that connect with the people they serve.

Why She Started

Beatrice always sensed she would one day run her own business. She did not expect it to happen so soon, but she stepped into entrepreneurship ready to learn in real time.

She saw a pattern. Many talented entrepreneurs and creatives struggled to fully own their story. In a world filled with noise and growing distrust, businesses were losing sight of their “why.” Why they started. Why they serve. Why their work matters.

At the heart of every business is a story. Beatrice believes that when that story is clear and visually aligned, connection follows. Through brand design and photography, she helps businesses define their value for their customers and communities.

The name Yumbo Studio, pronounced YOUmbo, carries personal meaning. It honors the pueblo in Colombia where her grandfather grew up. As a teenager, learning Spanish allowed her to better understand his stories. In the same way, she now helps businesses remove the barriers that stand between them and the people they are trying to reach.

She is proud to be a Latina founder building in Lancaster’s thriving small business community.

ASSETS Role

Beatrice participated in the ASSETS Idea Incubator virtually in 2021, where she learned foundational business principles and began shaping her early ideas. Since then, Yumbo Studio has evolved through multiple iterations and audience shifts.

More recently, her work photographing ASSETS entrepreneurs brought her even closer to the local ecosystem. Through that experience, she met a wide range of founders building meaningful businesses across Lancaster. It strengthened her commitment to serving this community and affirmed her place within it.

Looking Ahead

In 2026, Beatrice plans to welcome more clients, refine her craft in visual storytelling, and continue building a sustainable creative business. Her focus is to help businesses communicate clearly and confidently at a glance.
